Getting Ready for the Whittlesea Show
We are getting excited for the 2026 Whittlesea Show! Over the coming weeks, our students will be preparing a range of wonderful entries to showcase their creativity, imagination and skills.
This year, we will be submitting artwork across several categories, as well as students’ writing. It is a fantastic opportunity for our students to share their work with the wider Whittlesea community and see their creations displayed alongside entries from schools across the region.
The 2026 Whittlesea Show will be held on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th November
at the Whittlesea Showgrounds.
We look forward to seeing our students’ hard work and creativity represented at this much-loved local event. Good luck to all our students preparing entries; we can't wait to see how they go!
Home Learning - Term 3
A big congratulations to all of our students who consistently completed their Reading Home Learning this term! We had well over 100 students complete this term's home learning.
It was fantastic to celebrate their commitment and effort with certificates and a well-deserved chocolate treat.
Regular reading at home is an important part of developing strong reading habits and building confidence, so we are incredibly proud of the students who made it a priority. Well done to everyone who completed their home learning this term!
Student-Led Conferences
Just a reminder that Student-Led Conferences will take place on Wednesday 7 October (Week 1). This will be a modified school day, with students attending only their scheduled conference. Our students have been busy selecting a learning experience they would like to share with their families. Student-led conferences provide a wonderful opportunity for students to celebrate their learning, demonstrate their skills and understanding, and share their achievements with the people who support them.
Bookings are currently open in Compass. We look forward to welcoming families into our classrooms and celebrating our students' learning.
