Our Year 3/4 students had a fantastic three days at Alexandra Adventure Camp this week, enjoying a range of exciting activities and embracing the challenges that come with being away from home.

Across Monday to Wednesday, students tackled activities including the flying fox, high ropes, laser tag, giant swing and orienteering. These activities provided plenty of opportunities for students to challenge themselves, work together and demonstrate resilience.
For some students, this was their first time being away from home, and it was wonderful to see them supporting one another and persevering when things felt a little challenging.
The first night was certainly a restless one for many, with the excitement of camp making it difficult to settle! By the second night, however, fatigue had well and truly caught up with everyone, with plenty of students choosing to head to bed halfway through the evening movie.
On our final morning, students enjoyed a Wildlife Show before we packed up and headed back to Whittlesea. It was a wonderful way to finish three busy and memorable days.
A huge thank you to our parent helpers who gave their time to join us on camp. Your support, enthusiasm, and willingness to help made a significant contribution to the camp being such a positive experience for our students.

Well done to all of our Year 3/4 students for the resilience, courage and enthusiasm they demonstrated throughout the camp. We hope they returned home with plenty of great memories to share!
AtoSS - Attitudes to School Survey Data
The Attitudes to School Survey (AtoSS) is an annual survey conducted by the Victorian Department of Education for students in Years 4 to 12. It collects student feedback about their experiences at school, including their sense of belonging, engagement in learning, relationships with peers and teachers, and overall wellbeing
.
The survey provides schools with valuable data to better understand student perspectives and is used to inform school improvement planning, including priorities within the Annual Implementation Plan. It helps identify both strengths and areas for growth to support improved student outcomes and wellbeing.
At Whittlesea Primary School, our Attitudes to School Survey data show a strong, positive trend. Our most recent results are the strongest the school has achieved since I commenced as Principal in 2024, reflecting the collective efforts of our staff, students and community to strengthen connection, consistency and care across the school.
