Naplan

We are incredibly proud of the achievements of our students in this year’s NAPLAN assessments. 

Our Year 3 students performed exceptionally well, achieving results at or above the Victorian State average in every assessment domain. 

Our Year 5 students also demonstrated strong achievement, with their relative growth from Year 3 to Year 5 above the State in every domain. This reflects the strong mid-to-high growth achieved by this cohort of students over the past two years and highlights the positive progress they have made throughout their learning journey. 

These results are a testament to the collective effort of our entire school community and the high-quality teaching and learning taking place every day at Harvest Home Primary School. While NAPLAN is just one measure of student achievement, we are delighted to celebrate these results and congratulate all of our students on their efforts and accomplishments.

Upcoming Parent Teacher Interviews

Our upcoming Parent Teacher Interviews will take place on Wednesday 9 September- 10am -6:30pm. 

There will be no school on this day. Students are encouraged to attend the PTI with their parents. School attendance will be marked for attendance at the interviews.

The Parent Teacher Interview booking portal will be opened on Wednesday 26th August at 4:00pm. You will be able to book in to meet with your child's Literacy and Numeracy teachers to discuss their goals and progress in these curriculum areas. 

There will also be options to meet the Specialist Teachers on a first in, best dressed basis.

YMCA OSHC will have a full day care program available if required for this day. 

Spotlight on STEM: 3D Printers

Our students have been excited to explore the world of 3D printing during their STEM lessons. Using the 3D printers, students have had the opportunity to design, create and bring their ideas to life, while developing important skills in creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking and design. The experience has encouraged students to think like engineers as they explore how ideas move from an initial concept to a finished product. We look forward to seeing what our innovative young designers and creators produce next!
