Hey everyone, it’s me again, Nala, your school therapy dog🐾

Over the last couple of weeks, Aaron and I have been visiting Luke and April’s classes during their reading sessions. When I arrive, all the students in 3E and 3F are sitting so nicely, waiting for April to begin reading The One and Only Ivan. I love seeing everyone so calm and ready to listen!

After the story, we joined in for the daily review where the students learned all about suffixes like less and ful. I even listened to some amazing predictions about what might happen next in the book, these students are clever!

Then, the class talked about character traits. Some students said my outside traits are that I’m white and fluffy, and my inside traits are that I’m friendly and calm. I think they got that just right!

One of my favourite moments was when Jaz K waited so patiently for an invitation to give me lots of gentle pats, that made me feel really happy and safe.

It’s been so lovely spending time with 3E and 3F. I can’t wait to visit again soon and listen to more great stories (and maybe sneak in a few pats along the way!).
