UNIFORM SHOP CHANGE OF NAME AND NEW LOCATION
You may be aware that the current PSW Store located on Malop st, Geelong will soon be closing due to local infrastructure changes and implementations. As a result, a new home has been found for the school community to purchase their uniforms. PSW will soon be relocating to a new purpose-built retail showroom and warehouse in Grovedale!
Key information to note please:
Current PSW Geelong Store:
164 Malop Street, Geelong, VIC 3220
Last trading day in Malop street will be Thursday 20th November.
The retail store will be closed to the public from Friday 21st November till 28th November.
New Uniform Group Store address:
111-113 Grove Road, Grovedale, VIC 3216
(Just behind Aldi and a few doors down).
First day of trade Grand Opening will be 1st December.
PSW will also rebrand their retail stores to UNIFORM GROUP GROVEDALE - They will still be your home of uniforms as you know and love but with a new and fresh look. Their team is busy creating a whole new uniform shopping experience!
The new store will have your full uniform range on show along with the inclusion of the following new additions: shoes from Munro Footwear Group/ Linx & Colorado brands including formal shoes and sportswear shoes with professional fitting onsite. Core unbranded uniform items available in popular school colours. You will also find capsules on our shop floor showcasing Frank Green drink bottles, lunch boxes, some stationary items, Puma teamwear and Strive sportswear.
Glasses for Kids Program - Prep to Yr 3 in 2026
State Schools’ Relief (SSR) is proud to announce that the Victorian State Government has partnered with SSR once again to deliver the Glasses for Kids (GFK) program between 2024 and 2027. GFK aims to remove vision impairment as a potential barrier to educational engagement by ensuring that eligible students are supported to fully participate in education from their early years. GFK aims to visit 770 primary and specialist schools and target 108,000 students for initial vision screening during the program. If required, comprehensive eye testing and glasses will be provided to participating students at no cost.
Even if your child is already wearing glasses, they are still eligible to be screened and receive a free pair of glasses!
