The Shoalhaven City Concert Band would like to extend an invitation to any wind, brass, and percussion musicians to an upcoming band workshop we are holding on Saturday 2nd of December at the Nowra School of Arts. 

The Shoalhaven City Concert Band is a diverse, inclusive, and community-based band that has been based in the Shoalhaven for 30 years, with members ranging from 10 years old, to 96. We are thrilled to be hosting the Summer Sounds Band Open Day Workshop thanks to Create NSW. 

The day will consist of instrumental sectional rehearsals and full band sessions. Music will be aimed at different abilities and skills, something for all musicians. There will be several guest tutors, and the workshop will conclude with a free concert open to the public, friends, and family members.

This is an exciting opportunity for new musicians to build their confidence and meet the wider band community, and for experienced musicians and teachers to share their passion with beginners.

The $15 fee includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea, and access to experienced tutors.
