Footy Day 2026

We will celebrate finals season and the end of the school term on Friday with our annual footy day. Students are invited to wear their teams colours to school.

The running order of the day is beloe:

8:15am      Have a Ball Foundation will be collecting donated balls and boots by the tram  

9.00 am     Prep, 1s and 2s will be on the oval to complete their to do footy rotations, run by our year 6 student leaders. 

10.00 am   Preps, Year 1s and Year 2s will the go to the hall for the footy parade with Mr O'Brien

10.00 am   Year 3s, 4s and 5s to complete their footy rotations from 10 till 11 am

11.00 am    Morning play from 11 till 11.40, incl eating time

11.40 am    Longest Kick at for entire school on the oval.  Preps, 1s and 2s will be back in their classrooms

12 noon      Footy parade for Years 3s, 4s, 5s and 6s with Mr O'Brien in the hall straight after 

School Finishes at 1 pm

As part of our footy day celebration on the last day of term, we welcome back the Have a Ball Foundation, who will be with us in the morning collecting balls and boots. These donations will be sent to underprivileged areas across Australia, promoting opportunities for sport participation for all children. 

The collection will take place near the tram from 8 am through to 8:45 am, and anything that can enable a child to play sport will be accepted.
