As we reach early November, our school community enters a crucial and rewarding period of assessments across all year levels. I would like to share key dates and updates regarding upcoming exam blocks and academic milestones.

First, warm congratulations to our HSC students, who are reaching the finish line! The HSC exams will officially wrap up on Thursday 5th November. We commend our Year 12 cohort for their dedication and resilience throughout this intense period.

Assessment schedules are also actively under way for other year groups:

• Monday 2nd November: Year 10 commence their exams
• Monday 9th November: Year 9 exam block commences
• Wednesday 25th November: Year 12 (2027) exam block commences
• Monday 30th November: Year 10 Minimum Standards Testing. Please refer to the detailed email sent earlier in the term for complete background on these benchmarks. If any student is absent or does not meet the standards during this session, please rest assured that additional opportunities to complete them will be provided next year.

Embracing Magis:

In Latin, the word "magis" translates to more or to a greater extent. As our students sit for these assessments, we encourage them to draw on the spirit of magis, striving for that extra bit of focus, putting in a little more thorough preparation, and giving their utmost effort in every exam.
