Year 3 - 6 Interhouse Athletics Carnival 

It was a fantastic day at our Junior School Athletics Carnival, with perfect weather, plenty of energy and some great House spirit on show! Our students gave it their all during the events, cheering each other on and celebrating their teammates along the way. 

There were some impressive performances across the track and field, but as always, the best part of the day was seeing our students encouraging one another and enjoying the experience together. 

Congratulations to Durack House who claimed the trophy, and to Forrest House, who took out the House Spirit Award!

Book Week 2026 - Symphony of Stories 

Book Month brought a wonderful array of author and illustrator visits to the Junior School, inspiring students across all year levels. We welcomed acclaimed local creators Cristy Burne, Karen Blair and Kylie Howarth, while Singapore author Shirley Ong shared her dual-language picture books with Year 2 students, celebrating language, culture and storytelling. 

Students also enjoyed a range of Book Week activities, including the annual dress-up parade, the popular Lunchtime Sound Studio, and creative Book in a Bottle dioramas based on favourite stories. A special lunchtime concert saw the Year 6 String Quartet bring Four Seasons in One Day to life through music and storytelling, captivating an audience of around 80 students. 

It has been a fantastic celebration of books, creativity and imagination throughout the Junior School.
