Girls AFL Gala Day

On Thursday 24th July 2 teams of girls from grade 5 and 6 went to Tulip Street Reserve to participate in the annual Seaside District Girls AFL Gala Day. The conditions were perfect for some great matches.

Grade 6 girls were against some tough opposition throughout the day going down by a few goals in each of their games. They played hard, kept smiling and showed some great team spirit throughout the day. Thanks to Mr Foster for accompanying the girls on the day.

The Grade 5 girls had some hotly contested games, convincingly winning 2 and going down by just 1 or 2 points in the other matches. The girls showed some great skills on the field and there were lots of different goal kickers throughout the day.
