Gabrielle Wang: Year 5 & 6 

Thursday, August 21

Gabrielle Wang is an Australian writer and illustrator for children and young adults based in Melbourne. Many of her books have been shortlisted for significant awards, and she was Australian Children's Laureate in 2022–2023.

Andrew McDonald: Year 3 & 4

Friday, August 22

Andrew McDonald is the author of the Real Pigeons and Hello Twigs series (illustrated by Ben Wood). His books have been shortlisted for prizes such as the Australian Book Industry Awards, the Readings Children’s Book Prize, and the YABBA, KOALA and KROC children’s choice book awards.

Gus Gordon: Prep to Year 2

Monday, August 25

Illustrator and writer Gus Gordon is based in Sydney. He has written and illustrated more than 70 children’s books.

Dr Remi Kowalski: all grades

Tuesday, August 26

Dr Remi Kowalski is a paediatric cardiologist with 15 years of experience who practices at the Royal Children’s Hospital. His book, All About the Heart, is the first in a non-fiction series by Berbay Books, authored by paediatric medical experts in their fields.
