THANK YOU

Welcome to the special Family Festival 2026 edition of our newsletter. You will find pages of wonderful photos and recollections of the day.

It was such an amazing community event, with so many families turning out to help produce a day of fun, excitement and community spirit for all our students.

Despite the nervous lead-in to the event with everybody watching the weather forecast closely, we were well looked after by the weather gods and everything went smoothly on the day.

Thank you to everyone for coming out in support of the school and to build our community spirit together.

Thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped on stalls and with setup and pack-up. We absolutely could not have achieved such an amazing event without your time and dedication.

Thank you to families and local businesses who donated prizes, goods and services to help provide a plethora of options for our children to enjoy.

Thank you to staff who dedicated significant time and energy on the day and in the lead-up to prepare decorations, setup, pack-up, help on the stalls and assist with students where required.

Thank you to all our sponsors for your support of the event, the school and our students. Platinum Sponsors for the event were:

  • Salveo Home Care
  • Barry Plant Ringwood and Heathmont
  • Ringwood Mazda
  • Sheen Panel Service
  • Club Ringwood

And finally, with the greatest sincerity ...

Thank you to our extraordinary Festival Committee who dedicated countless hours into designing, planning, communicating and running the event. Your contributions went above and beyond and I know that staff and community members alike were stunned at the event you managed to achieve.

  • Chantelle Trend and Ricarda Lillis (Staff Representatives)
  • Rachel Nicholls and David Barrington (Sponsorship)
  • Emma Adams and Mel Lawrence (Community and Active Zones)
  • Tegan Harvey, Teisha Lay and Kristie McDiarmid (Fundraising and Stalls)
  • Sarah Ashton and Ray Srichumpoung (Food and Beverage)
  • Jane Stagg and Annette Degenhardt (Main Stage)
  • Alisha Dunsford (Marketing and Communications)
  • Jodie Murphy (Event/Project Planning)

We have a little break between events, with the school production scheduled in 2027 for August 4, 5 and 6 and then later in the year, the 2028 Festival Committee will start to form.

Keen to get involved?

The PFA runs all through the year and are always looking for new parents to get involved and host a series of events for students that support the school and enrich students' experiences at school. Contact the amazing parents on PFA to get involved: pfa.rnps@gmail.com

The upcoming November State Election will, of course, require a Democracy Sausage. Volunteer a couple of hours on the day to work the BBQ, support democracy and help the school!
