2026 Attitudes to School Survey-Part 2
Please see below some results from the survey in 2026:
Effective teaching time for students:
At Miners Rest Primary School, we are proud of the positive feedback students have shared through the 2026 Attitudes to School Survey. Our results show that 93% of students in Years 4–6 positively endorsed effective teaching time.
Students also reported strong positive experiences across other areas of effective teaching practice, including differentiated learning challenge (92%), effective classroom behaviour (88%) and stimulated learning (93%). These results reflect our commitment to creating engaging, supportive and purposeful learning environments where students are encouraged to participate, challenge themselves and achieve their best.
Stimulated learning for students:
Stimulated learning reflects students’ experiences of engaging, interesting and challenging learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, participation and a desire to learn. Our results demonstrate that students are responding positively to the learning experiences provided at MRPS, with positive endorsement increasing from 68% in 2022 to 93% in 2026.
Sense of inclusion:
This result reflects our commitment to fostering a welcoming and supportive school community where students feel accepted, valued and that they belong. Positive endorsement has increased from 87% in 2022 to 94% in 2026, demonstrating encouraging progress in this important area of student wellbeing.
Our results also show positive student perceptions across related areas, including sense of connectedness (87%), student voice and agency (85%) and school stage transitions (83%). These areas remain important to ensuring every child feels connected to their peers, has opportunities to share their views and is supported through changes in their schooling.
