Highlights of 2025
My highlight of Year 5 was at Camp Rumbug, when we did lots of fun activities, hanging out with friends, and roasting marshmallows on the fire there, and school footy because we didn’t have to do any work the whole day and got to play footy. – Ned 5B
A highlight of Year 5 has been having sport days on Fridays, because it was really fun having to do no work for 30 minutes. – Giselle 5B

A highlight of Year 5 has been my teacher Miss Bull. She is really nice and makes class fun. My favourite part of Year 5 was Hoop Time because we made it to the semi-finals. I also enjoyed Miss Bull's birthday because we didn't have to do any work. Next year I will make sure I am a great leader; I promise to make a friendly environment and include everyone in my games. – Tom 5B

My favourite highlight of Year 5 was when we went to Camp Rumbug. We didn't just make more friends, but also learned more life skills like how to canoe, how to build rafts, and even how to find things in nature with scavenger hunts. – Zara 5B
A highlight of Year 5 has been the soccer tournament I played in. Even though we lost in the final, we had lots of fun. It was the Lightning Premiership, and they scored 3 goals and we scored 1. We had a great coach, my uncle. – Josh 5B

My favourite memory of the year was camp. We got to play tonnes of fun games including flying fox over the lake, making a raft, going kayaking, and so much more. We stayed in cabins with our friends. We also had beads and each colour meant a different strength. That’s why I loved camp. – Grace 5T

My Grade 6 highlight was the sleepout. What an incredible experience doing something so important with so many people I love! – Miss Newey

My Grade 6 highlight was the Dendy athletics carnival. I loved athletics because I competed in my favourite events: the 100m, long jump and the 4x100 relay. In the 4x100 I got 1st, and my team was Eddie, Mars and Van. – Remy Pereira
My Grade 6 highlight was Canberra camp when we went bowling, and in my team was Ava, Tess, Emily P. and Miss Bulte. Miss Bulte won, but we still had lots of fun. – Zoe Martin

My Grade 6 highlight is the Year 6 sleepout. I liked it because we slept outside on cardboard. I also liked learning about homelessness and it made me feel how important it is. I also loved selling spiders with Remy and Daniel during the Year 6 stalls. – William Gleeson
