All fee accounts should now be settled. Please ensure your account is up to date, including swimming payment ($90 per student).

All students in Year 1-6 will take part in swimming lessons in Term 4.  The program will run from Mon 17th Nov - Thurs 27th Nov, with no swimming on Friday 21st November. This is a compulsory part of the curriculum and while many students take private lessons, all students in Year 1-6 are expected to take part.

Lessons will be held at the Danny Frawley Centre in Moorabbin and students will travel by bus. An nForma form has been released for consent to take part. Please ensure all health and medical details are up to date along with emergency contact details in nForma.

As advised, the cost of the program has been subsidised by the school sourcing additional grants. Cost per student is $90 and this has been added to fee accounts (amounts are reflected in the current Statement).  Please ensure your swimming fees have been paid.

nForma Portal  - app version available too!

At Sacred Heart, we use nForma for all school communication, including:

• Student reports at mid-year and end-of-year
• Absence advice
• Notices and permission forms
• Bulk emails and SMS
• First aid advice
• Parent-teacher interview bookings

• Chat module is live NOW! Please make sure your app is updated and you have notifications on.  We are trialling this for nForma and giving feedback regarding possible improvements. All feedback welecome.

   

This platform ensures streamlined and effective communication across our school community.  Please ensure you check for the latest version (currently 4.2.0); the app is constantly evolving to provide better communication for parents.

***We no longer use Operoo or Audiri, so please remove these, unless used for other schools or sporting organisations.***

CDFpay - now an app!

All purchases for uniform, P&F events and also Tuck Shop orders are placed through the CDFpay app. Please ensure you have downloaded it.

ATTENDANCE:

Rolls are marked from 8:55-9am.  If your child arrives after 9am please sign them in at the office.  Please enter absences directly in the nForma Parent Portal app.  

Alternatively, you can email classroom teachers and cc the office (admin@shs.catholic.edu.au) to advise any absence or late arrival.  

Our attendance system will send an automated SMS to parents if we haven't received explanation by 9:30am (SMS system rolls out according to roll confirmation time).  

DROPPING ITEMS AT THE OFFICE:

If you have something to drop in at the office for your child, please ensure it is labelled clearly with their name and class.  It will be passed on at the next break time.  We do not interrupt class time. Please keep these drop offs to a minimum.

MESSAGES TO CHILDREN - IE: CHANGE IN PICK UP DETAILS ETC

Please ensure you ring through any messages to be passed on to your child.  Email cannot be relied upon as we may not see it in time, or staff may be absent.  The best way to ensure a message will be passed on is to PHONE the office.  Children are not to contact parents directly using electronic devices at any time.  

P&F PAYMENTS:

Payments for the P&F (i.e. for functions or uniform shop) must be kept separate from school payments. The P&F have a separate bank account—please do not use the school bank account for their payments.  Most P&F functions/events can be paid for on CDFpay, same as the uniform shop.

· Remember, if unsure of anything at all in relation to administration matters at school, don't hesitate to ring the office and we will be more than happy to assist you. 

· The office is open between 8:30am and 3:45pm Monday –Friday.

BEFORE AND AFTERCARE 2025

We are thrilled to be able to offer Before Care on Wednesdays and Thursdays in 2025. 

Aftercare will run Mon-Thurs.  No Friday service due to lack of interest.  This service can only operate if there is enough demand.
