Year 7

As we approach the end of the school year, I could not be prouder of our Year 7 students and how far they have come. Their growth academically, socially, and personally has been wonderful to witness. With several exciting opportunities still ahead of us before the end of term, I encourage all students to embrace the remainder of the year with enthusiasm and curiosity.

A special mention in this newsletter edition goes to Andez Barrera, Zach Navarro, and Rory Whittaker, who represented the College in the Regional SSWA Junior Futsal Carnivals. We also congratulate Vanessa Johnson and Shiyu Chen, who were selected by CEWA to participate in the STEM MAD National Showcase. Well done to all these outstanding Year 7 students, and to the dedicated teachers who have supported them on their journey toward excellence.

A reminder that the Social Media Delay laws are fast approaching. While they officially come into effect on 10 December, all profiles belonging to individuals under sixteen will be deleted on 4 December. Young people are strongly encouraged to download their data before this date.

Finally, as we prepare our current Year 7 cohort to transition into Year 8, we are also excited to welcome our incoming Year 7 class for 2026 on 4 December for Orientation Day. We have a wonderful program of activities planned and look forward to greeting students between 8:30 am and 8:40 am to enable us to commence on time. Students can be dropped off and collected from the Brother Patrick Doolan Forum, and the day will conclude at 3:10 pm.

Thank you for your continued support, and well done to our Year 7s for an exceptional year so far.
