to our Mathematicians

Congratulations to students from 5/6, Wen Hao, Steven, Daniel.B, Benito, Damien, Namasvi and Jacob C, for completing the University of Melbourne Research & Statistics Competition in Term 2 and 3. These students worked in groups to research, solve a chosen question and then present their findings to Melbourne Uni. 

There were over 500 groups from Australia and New Zealand.

We had two groups achieve in the top 56% for Participation (Wen Hao, Steven, Daniel.B, and Benito)

Congratulations to Damien, Namasvi and Jacob C for being in the top 7% with a High Commendation.  WHAT AN ACHIEVEMENT!

Congratulations to Shabad, Yashwin and Anthony who have been participating in the Australasian Problem Solving Mathematical Olympiads (APSMO) for the past three terms. This program has promoted and improved problem solving skills, encouraged creativity and collaboration and enjoyment of mathematics.

Well done boys, you have done a wonderful job working in your group this year, keep up your enthusiasm for maths!
