Our Faith Journey
What might we need to let go of, rearrange, or open up in our hearts or daily lives so that there is truly room for Jesus to enter this Advent?

Our Faith Journey
What might we need to let go of, rearrange, or open up in our hearts or daily lives so that there is truly room for Jesus to enter this Advent?
Mathew 3:1-12
John the Baptist appears in Judea preaching a message of repentance.
"Prepare the way of the Lord” — What needs clearing in my heart?
John the Baptist calls people to make a straight path for the Lord.

Just as John the Baptist called people to “prepare the way of the Lord,” we prepare the way by noticing the needs around us and responding with love. By contributing an item or two, our students learn that faith is lived through action, and that even small acts of giving can bring light to someone’s Christmas.
If your family is able to donate nonperishable food items, it can be brought to school before the 12th of December. The Chairperson from St Vincent de Paul will be joining us on the day to receive the food items we collect.
Thank you for helping us make a difference this Advent.
To celebrate your child’s kindness, each student will receive a star to place in a special spot in the classroom, showing that they are a shining light for those in need.
Thank you for helping us share hope, joy, and generosity with our community!
With gratitude,
The Family of St Peter’s
Grade 5-6 students leading the school in the Advent Liturgy

As we continue our Advent journey, we look forward to our second Jesse Tree prayer service on Friday 5 December at 2:45pm where our Grade 3–4 students will guide us in reflecting on God’s promises and the coming of Jesus.
Our final prayer service will be held on Friday 12 December, starting at 2:30pm and led by our F-2 students.
We warmly welcome families to join us and celebrate the story of God’s love coming to life through the Jesse Tree.
