Message from the Principal
St Peter’s School - an empowered faith community to enrich the world.
I can't believe we have less than two weeks left of the 2025 school year! Our Year 6 students are in full preparation for their Graduation to be held on Monday 15 December and have been completing transition days at their new high schools.
We look forward with much excitement to 2026, especially with the building works on the senior building. The builders are due on site from 12 January, so we will notice some changes when we return for Term 1 2026.
I hope in the busyness of this time, that you are able to find time to slow down and reflect on the messages of Advent - of finding moments for hope, love, and peace as we prepare for Christmas.
Please read the page congratulating some of our students on their achievement in Maths this year. I extend a big thank you to Ms Moran for her work with these students.

Congratulations to:
We are a community of learners and it is wonderful to see staff modelling this!
I congratulate Natasha Franchina on her appointment to Mental Health Wellbeing Leader here at St Peter's School next year. This is a new position for our school and will assist us to support the mental health and wellbeing of our students. Natasha will continue in her roles of Wellbeing Leader and Learning Diversity Leader. We welcome Grace Accetta who will be teaching Physical Education at St Peter's in 2026. Grace has been a relief teacher at St Peter's this year so has a head start in knowing the students. Welcome Grace!
We invite all families - current and new in 2026 - to join us on Thursday 11 December as we share the story of Christmas. Please join us in the hall at 5:30pm. Students are asked to arrive at school by 5:15pm wearing a 'touch of Christmas'.

We thank you for your patience during this time. We have been advised that parents should now have access to the website: PAM@spclayton.catholic.edu.au. On this website you can register student absences and see upcoming dates. Before the end of term, Semester 2 reports will also be available here. The Simoneverywhere app remains out of action.

With the changes to social media laws coming into effect in the next week, this resource might be useful as you support your young teen through this transition.
