From the School Leadership Team

Welcome back to Term 3!
I hope you had a blessed and relaxing holiday, with time to rest and reconnect with family and friends. It promises to be a great term ahead, with some new faces joining us among our staff, students and families.
Eisugakkan Visit
We're excited to welcome students from Eisugakkan, who arrive this Thursday! We'll hold a whole school assembly on Thursday morning to welcome them. From there, students will head off to camp with Eisugakkan on Friday and Saturday, followed by homestay with host families over the weekend, before returning to visit on Monday morning.
A big thank you to Mrs Bishop, Mrs Chinca and Mrs Underwood for all their work coordinating the logistics for this special visit.
Thank You — GGOSH Vacation Care
A massive thank you to Vicki and the entire GGOSH team for another fantastic Vacation Care programme over the holidays. The energy, creativity and care the team brought to keeping our kids engaged and having fun did not go unnoticed — thank you for making it such a positive experience for our students and families.
Leadership Update
Tim Kriewaldt, our Deputy Principal, continues to recover from surgery, and we anticipate he will return on Monday 10 August. While Tim is away, Rachel Saunders will be Acting Deputy Principal.
Tanya Rowland, our Business Manager, has also had surgery over the holidays and is recovering well; we're anticipating she will also be back on Monday 10 August. In the meantime, for any enquiries that would ordinarily go to Tanya as the Business Manager, please contact Sharlene Rothe, our Finance Officer, at finance@goldengrove.sa.edu.au.
Congratulations to Our LSOs!
Congratulations to our teaching LSOs — Steph Schwarz, Tanya Vanzwol, Lexie Leitinger, Kerry Abraham, Leanne Hampel, Vanessa Hughes and Tanya Manocchio — on being named SA Finalists in the Teacher's Aide of the Year Awards! What a wonderful achievement, and well-deserved recognition of the incredible work they do supporting our students every day.
Parent Code of Conduct
As we begin the new term, we'd like to remind all families of our Parent Code of Conduct, which sets out the standards we ask of everyone in our school community. We thank our parents and carers for continuing to model respectful, positive engagement with staff, students, and each other.
Looking Ahead
It's shaping up to be an exciting term, with plenty on the calendar including Book Week, Community Breakfast, SPA, Sports Day, SACSA Netball and Football, Pong-A-Thon and Trivia Night, and our Exhibition — just to name a few of the highlights ahead. Keep an eye on the newsletter and school calendar for more details as each event approaches.

LLL - Charitable Donations Program
We're thrilled to partner with LLL Australia to bring you a meaningful way to support our school through their Charitable Donation Program.
Your generosity in making a deposit with the LLL through a Charitable Facility Account which will assist us in upgrading our Foundation playground.
The funds you hold in your Facility will generate notional amounts of interest that is retained by LLL who will make a regular allocation to us to further our project, while your original investment remains completely untouched.
Our partnership with LLL Australia makes it simple and secure by:
- Opening a new LLL Charitable Facility.
- Nominating Golden Grove Lutheran Primary School as the preferred beneficiary of the interest your facility will forgo.
That's it! You can rest easy knowing your money is making a meaningful difference in our community—all with zero fees or charges to you.
If you would like to know more, please contact Tanya Rowland, our Business Manager.
The link below enables you to open an LLL Charitable Facility and nominate our school.
