Fun for Kids on World Environment Day
This World Environment Day, join us at the Museum of Modern (f)Art to discover how small actions can save water and keep our sewers healthy during Geelong’s dry conditions!
With our water storages critically low, every drop counts. Barwon Water’s Museum is a fun, family-friendly space where kids learn through play about protecting our rivers by treating toilets right and saving water at home.
On World Environment Day, Thursday 5 June, we’re opening up for an after school session, from 3 pm to 5.30 pm. Explore our special display on water-saving tricks, like taking shorter showers, to help our region through the driest year in decades. Plus, kids can dive into interactive games to learn how avoiding fatbergs keeps our waterways clean for wildlife like the platypus.
📍 FINDING US IS EASY! We're located in the Barwon Water head office (55-67 Ryrie Street, Geelong). Don't use the main entrance - instead, head around to Aitchison Place at the back of the building (behind the Arts Centre).
We hope to see you there!
