PRINCIPAL UPDATE 

Thank you to parents who actioned my email last week in regard to Parent Payments this year.  If parents are not aware of the email sent last week, please review your inbox, or the Compass News Feed. Your support is greatly appreciated. 

It was also appreciated that parents took the time to complete the Parent Teacher Interview survey.  Your feedback is valued, and we always love to share some positive remarks from parents to staff as it can be very motivating.  Teaching staff enjoyed hosting you on this night and we hope the information gained was beneficial.

Stay tuned for the opening date of the Sensory Garden.  A final walk through was conducted last week with the contractors, who have a few finishing touches to complete. Students will be taking a tour with their classroom teacher prior to the space opening for recess and lunch playtimes.

We have again a busy week with incursions and excursions and look forward to hearing how these events go. Grade 3 and 4 heading off on their Heritage Walk, Artefacts of the future from Grade 6 during Art, amongst others.

Don’t forget there is no school next Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th of June for the Kings Birthday Public Holiday, and Curriculum Day where all staff will be undertaking day 2 of the Berry St training.
