Year 3-6 Swimming Carnival

Our Year 3–6 Swimming Carnival was a fantastic day filled with energy, team spirit, and plenty of fun in the pool! Students gave their very best in every race, cheered loudly for their peers, and displayed wonderful sportsmanship throughout the carnival. The atmosphere was electric as students showcased both their swimming skills and their commitment to teamwork and encouragement. Congratulations to Rafka House, who took out the overall win on the day! A big thank you to all staff and families who supported the event and helped make it such a memorable occasion for our students.

 

MCHF through to the Parra Eels Cup Grand Final! Again!

Another great achievement in the Parra Eels Cup. Since the competition began three years ago, MCHF has reached the Grand Final every single year, winning it twice. Today, we proudly secured our 4th consecutive spot in the Grand Final. This year’s competition ran over three separate days across six weeks and involved 11 teams.

 

  • On the first day, things looked tough, with MCHF winning only 1 of 5 games, but the team never lost hope.
  • On the second day, their positive attitude and determination shone through as they went undefeated, climbing to 3rd place on the ladder

  • Today, in the finals, MCHF fought hard against Cabramatta. In a thrilling finish, thanks to a one-on-one strip and a try in the dying seconds, our team claimed a 12–10 victory, earning their place in the Grand Final.

     

A big thank you and congratulations are due to Mr Abood for his dedication and leadership, and to all the players for their resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship. We both congratulate and wish the team and coaches the very best of luck for their Grand Final match next term.
