BOOK WEEK
Next week we will be celebrating Book Week, focusing on the books shortlisted in the 2025 Children’s Book Council of Australia awards. During literacy lessons classes will read and complete activities based on these books.
The highlight of the week will be our “Book Week Parade” on Friday at 9am on the tennis courts. Students and staff are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character, or to the theme of “Book an Adventure.”
There are no prizes awarded, with the emphasis on participation and fun. Thank you in advance to parents for your support of this event.
The shortlisted books are on display behind the desk in the library.
