World Humanitarian Day – August 19

On August 19, we mark World Humanitarian Day, a time to honour those who work to bring care, safety and hope to people in times of great need. As a Catholic community, we are called to live out Jesus’ message of love and compassion, especially for those who are suffering. This year, we remember and pray for the many families and children around the world who are experiencing hardship, including those in Gaza who are facing conflict and loss. Let us keep them in our hearts and prayers, and be inspired to act with kindness and generosity in our own daily lives.

Prayer Gathering

Tomorrow Deb’s Grade 3 class will lead us in prayer for the Assumption of Mary. All welcome as we acknowledge the patron saint of our school.
