Open Morning

Education Week provides an important opportunity to celebrate the value of public education and to showcase the learning, opportunities and sense of community that schools provide for children every day.

For Ivanhoe Primary School, Open Morning was a chance to proudly open our doors to current and prospective families, allowing them to see our classrooms in action, experience the positive relationships that exist across the school and witness the enthusiasm our students bring to their learning.

It is also an opportunity to highlight the dedication of our staff, the strong partnership we share with families and the inclusive, supportive environment that helps every child feel connected, challenged and valued.

Year 1 - STEM Lego Masters

During our Open Morning, 1L undertook the challenge to create a Lego Marble Maze. Through lots of collaboration and amazing teamwork, they created a maze that met 3 key criteria:- it needed a start and a finish - the marble needed to move through the maze easily - the maze had to include a special feature such as a ramp, tunnel or obstacle.
