I’ve felt incredibly welcomed since joining the school as the new Grade 4 teacher. From the very first day, the kindness of the students, the support of the staff, and the warmth of our wider school community have made settling in a joy. It’s been wonderful getting to know everyone and to feel so quickly at home.

In the classroom, our students have been thoughtfully reflecting on our school values of respect, integrity, kindness, excellence, and resilience. Through discussions, learning activities, and everyday interactions, they are beginning to show a strong understanding of what these values look like in action. One highlight has been our class tree, where students have contributed artwork and writing that share the positive ways they want our classroom to look and feel.

2026 is going to be a productive, engaging and fun year for year 4!
