Tennis Lessons at FPS
Tennis lessons will be held on Thursday mornings before school at FPS. The term two program commences Thursday 12 February, from 8:15 – 8:45am.
Enrolment forms can be collected at the office or downloaded below.
Positive Parenting Group
The positive parenting group supports parents to learn strategies they can put in place to support their child to:
- Manage their emotions and build healthy relationships.
- Build emotional resilience, self-esteem and independence.
- Develop problem solving skills and communication skills.
There are five online sessions (starting 4 March) and it is aimed at parents/carers of children from 5 – 10 years. See the attachment for details and registration information.

Seeking Cricket Players – North Alphington CC
North Alphington Cricket Club (NACC) has two great programs for primary school children targeting new players:
Blasters at Pitcher Park on Sunday mornings (9–10am)
- 4 weeks (for Foundation – Grades 2/3).

- For 9–12 year old children who are new or beginner players.

Join The Science Squad!
Spark your child’s curiosity with our hands-on after-school science club for Years 2–4. Led by a specialist science teacher, our term one 'Biology Explorers' program dives deep into the living world – from microscopic cells to animal adaptations. Each term will focus on a different area of science.
- When: Monday’s 3:30 – 5 pm.
- Where: Includes a supervised walking transfer from Fairfield PS to Fairfield Library Community Room.
- Bonus: Every term participant receives a specialist science tool to keep!

Yarra Paddlers – Learn to Paddle Program
The Ivanhoe Northcote Canoe Club (INCC) is a community club located on the banks of the Yarra, near the Fairfield Park and the Boathouse Café. The club offers a junior paddle program.
- The junior programs are led by qualified and experienced kayaking coaches.
- The program supports the development of confidence, skills and fitness for young people aged 10–18 years.
