Focus on Science

Welcome back for another year of Science!

Students have begun the term by settling into the science space and revisiting our science room expectations and procedures, helping everyone start the year focused, safe and ready to learn. It has been wonderful to see students taking pride in their learning from the very beginning. 

This term promises to be a jam-packed and engaging one. 

• Foundation, Grade 2, Grade 4 & Grade 6 students will be exploring chemical sciences.
• Grade 1, Grade 3 & Grade 5 students will be diving into biological sciences. 

Across all year levels, students are currently working on their semester one front covers, each designed specifically to reflect their year level and upcoming learning. This has been a great opportunity for creativity while also reinforcing a sense of ownership over their learning.

From next week, students will kick off their first topic-specific science lesson, building on prior knowledge, making connections and beginning their new learning journeys strong and engaged.
