Volunteers - it takes a village and you are ours!
Have you thought about volunteering with one of the PA events, fundraisers or within our amazing school? We would love to have you onboard, even if it's just a one off, however before you add your name to any sign-up sheets, please check out the FWPS Volunteer Information page. All volunteers need to complete a short induction and must have a current Working with Children's Check (WWCC). Although this is a bit of extra paperwork, once it's done you can volunteer in classes, at events and during fundraisers, which is a great way to help our community grow.
Mother's and Special Persons Day Stall - Term 2
Speaking of volunteers...Term 2 will see the return of our Mother's and Special Persons Day Stall, another well loved tradition within the FWPS community.
We are seeking volunteers to assist with:
- setting up
- wrapping gifts
- running the stall
- packing up on the day
This year, we would love for our Mother's and Special People who will be celebrating in May to sit this one out. We love you dearly, however we'd also love to give you the day off. If you are a Mother or Special Person that will be celebrating in May and you're reading this, feel free to nudge someone in your inner circle and point them in the direction of the sign up sheet.
Volunteers who are ready to jump right in, can sign up here and we look forward to meeting you in Term 2.
Easter Raffle Donations - Chocolate Needed!
Tickets for the Easter Raffle will be on sale next week via Compass, however we need your help to provide donations of Easter chocolate for the amazing Easter baskets that will be raffled off in the last week of school term. Running out of time to head to the shops? No worries, you can make an online donation to the Parents Association via Compass and we'll do the shopping for you. This is a great way for our villagers to contribute without adding to the to-do list. To donate, look out for the Easter Raffle Donations post on Compass (coming soon!).

West Footscray Writers Festival and FWPS PA Second Hand Book Stall - Sunday, 29th March
We can't do this without you!
Thank you to our FWPS village who continually support our fundraising activities and community events. Without you, we wouldn't be able to fund some the projects that improve our school. We look forward to meeting many more of you as the year progresses.
