Filming for Better Homes and Gardens

On Tuesday 15th September, 12 Environmental Leaders travelled to Docklands to assist with filming an episode of Better Homes and Gardens at Melbourne Skyfarm.

Melbourne Skyfarm is located on the rooftop of a highrise multistorey carpark which is made up of 100s of Foodcubes.

Our students previously attended Skyfarm in May where they planted seedlings into many of the foodcubes. When students returned, they were amazed at how big the seedlings they had planted had grown.

All students had the opportunity to be in front of the camera and follow the directions they were given very well. At the end of filming, they were treated to a banquet of food provided by Melbourne Convention Centre chefs which they thoroughly enjoyed.

We will be travelling back to Skyfarm again in Term 4 for another media opportunity that our students have been invited to.
