Father’s Day Celebration

On Friday 4th September, it was wonderful to welcome so many fathers, uncles, grandfathers and other important father figures into our school to celebrate Father’s Day together.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was our special story, shared in four languages, English, Vietnamese, Khmer and Korean. It was a wonderful reflection of the diversity within our ARPS community and a great opportunity to celebrate the many languages spoken by our families.

Our Father’s Day video, shared at assembly, was another special part of the celebration and gave us the opportunity to recognise the important role fathers and father figures play in the lives of our students.

Throughout the afternoon, it was wonderful to see so many of our fathers and father figures connecting with one another and, most importantly, enjoying time with their children. The sense of community across the school was certainly a highlight.

We hope everyone enjoyed capturing a special photo at our Father’s Day photo booth and that some fun memories were made along the way!

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us, while also recognising those fathers and father figures who were unable to attend on the day. Whatever that role looks like in each family, the time, support, encouragement and care you provide has an important and lasting impact on the children in your lives.
