Leadership Update

I shared this news via a compass news feed earlier this week but in case you missed it I shared with you that our Principal, David Foley has made the decision to retire from his role as Principal. He will remain on leave for the remainder of 2026. I will remain as Acting Principal until the end of 2026. We will be holding a special whole school assembly next year to allow students and families to celebrate David’s wonderful work and contribution to our school and to officially say goodbye to him. 

The region will be managing the recruitment process for the new substantive Principal together with School Council. I have thoroughly enjoyed my role as Acting Principal of our amazing school, and I will be applying for the substantive Principal role. 

Footy Day

On Wednesday we celebrated Footy Day. We started our day with our parade. We then took a rain break (not a brain break) and returned after the rain to finish up prior to recess. It was a tricky morning working around the rain, but we got there in the end! We were then treated to a footy day lunch organised and served by another fabulous group of parents. Thank you for making the day so fun for our students!
