GSSC Expo

On Thursday 22 February, we hosted a spectacular Expo Night. Both existing and new families had the time to explore the array of opportunities, subjects, and services the school provides for its students and families.

The event featured a  range of stalls, providing a look at the exciting educational journey experienced by our GSSC students. Representatives from TAFE, La Trobe University, and Melbourne University were on hand to offer valuable advice and tips, guiding students towards a bright future beyond high school.

The event allowed families to explore the various programs and supports on offer for our students including the Hands on Learning program, Wellbeing services, First Nations and Multicultural supports and clubs and activities. 

Engaging activities such as games, scavenger hunts, live entertainment from the school band and school tours added a fun, interactive element to the night, providing a glimpse into the vibrant atmosphere of the school. And, of course, the evening wouldn't be complete without a sausage sizzle. Thank you to the Rotary and our students who hosted the BBQ dinner.  

The overwhelming success of the GSSC Expo Night ensures it will become an annual tradition.
