Senior Hooptime recap

A big congratulations to all students that participated last week in the Senior Hooptime Carnival at the State Basketball Centre in Wantirna South. It was a fantastic day that saw our All Star Girls team win the competition, and those girls will head to a Regional Carnival day sometime in Term 4.

A big thank you to the parents that helped out with coaching. Thank you to Jamie M, Erin C and Daniel B for your energetic coaching. The kids loved it!

Potato Olympics!

This week the Potato Olympics for 2026 have hit the senior building. Throughout the next few weeks, students and their potato buddy, will participate in a number of events in and around the senior building. 

While everyone wants to have the best potato - and who wouldn't - the main focus of the Potato Olympics is to be able to capture a number of different data, and then translate them into various conclusions.

The first event was held on Wednesday with the 'Nearest to the pin' activity, where students had to roll their potato at a target, sort of replicating a real life curling rink. Unfortunately some potatoes have sustained head knocks, and they will enter the proper concussion protocols to ensure they can compete in the upcoming events!
