Touch Football

Congratulations to Elly for her participation in the NSW CHS Girls Touch Football Championships this week. The team performed admirably, and all members were commended for their exemplary sportsmanship.

Tenpin Bowling

Our MC students have been practicing their bowling skills in Armidale in preparation for the upcoming Inclusive Sports Competition in Term 3.

Cross Country

North West Cross Country Trials

Kurt, Isaac, and Alex participated in the NW Cross Country trials held in Coolah on 11 June. 

Congratulations to the boys for their impressive performances:

Alex secured 12th place in the 15-year category.

Isaac finished 9th in the 16-year category.

Kurt achieved 5th place in the 17+ year category.

Kurt will now head to Sydney to compete in the NSW All Schools Cross Country at the Sydney Equestrian Centre during the first week of Term 3. Well done, Kurt!

Soccer

On 12 June, Mr Ryan and Mr Caisley accompanied our U15 girls' soccer team to compete in the Bill Turner Trophy in Tamworth. After an impressive victory against Armidale Secondary College, our girls advanced to face Oxley High School in the Round 4 Regional Finals.

In a tightly contested match, the girls narrowly lost 3-2, with Ruby scoring both goals for THS! This performance highlights the remarkable effort of our team, especially given that they were competing against a larger school with over 1,000 students.

Congratulations to the girls, and a heartfelt thank you to Mr Ryan and Mr Caisley for your coaching and support. We are incredibly proud of you all!
