Physical Education

What a fantastic and active term it has been in Physical Education and Sport!

Throughout the term, students have continued to develop their skills, confidence, and teamwork through a variety of engaging activities. Towards the end of the term, we were fortunate to work alongside Gecko Sports, whose coaching complemented our netball program beautifully. Students have been highly engaged in learning and practising netball skills, and it has been wonderful to see their confidence, game awareness, and skill levels continue to improve. Most importantly, they have been having a great time while learning.

We are also incredibly proud of Callum and Ava for representing our school at Division Cross Country. Both students gave their absolute best effort, demonstrated excellent determination, and should be very proud of their achievements.

During sport sessions, students have participated in a range of tabloid sports activities, working in teams and focusing on cooperation, engagement, sportsmanship, and having fun. Activities such as beanbag races, scooter relays, spoon races, and many other exciting challenges have provided plenty of opportunities for students to encourage one another, work together, and celebrate success.

Looking ahead, we are excited to introduce the Jump Rope for Heart program at Menzies Creek next term. This wonderful initiative will help students develop their skipping skills while promoting fitness, perseverance, and healthy lifestyles. We can't wait to see their progress and enthusiasm as they take on this new challenge.

It has been an amazing term filled with learning, growth, and plenty of fun. We are incredibly proud of all our students and look forward to another exciting term ahead!

Have a wonderful holiday break,

Paige Ruane
