School Closure Days

A reminder that Monday 3 November is a School Closure Day and Tuesday 4 November is a public holiday.

World Teachers' Day

Yesterday we celebrated World Teachers’ Day. I am sure you will agree that we have outstanding teachers and staff at Sacred Heart Kew who consistently go above and beyond for the students in their care. On World Teachers’ Day incredible teachers are celebrated for educating, inspiring and supporting students. A big thank you to our wonderful Parents' Association for providing the Staff with a generous lunch on behalf of the parent community, especially Sarah Lombardi, Chelsea Bateman and Luisa Superina, for delivering the food and setting up. Thank you for your generosity in recognising what we do for all of our students.

Costume Washing

A huge thank you to all the parents who are in the process of washing the Disney Frozen Jr costumes. A reminder to return all washed costumes back to the Office by Monday 27 October.

Prep 2026 Transition

Next week, we look forward to our Prep 2026 Transition Sessions as we welcome our newest members to the Sacred Heart Kew family.

There will be 3 Transition Sessions and a Parent Information Night.  These will take place on the following days.  

Wednesday 29 October Session No. 1

Wednesday 5 November Session No. 2

Wednesday 12 November Session No. 3 and Parent Info Night

At the end of last term, all Prep 2026 parents received an email outlining relevant information pertaining to their child and their particular session times.
