Learning, growing and celebrating together...
Dear Sacred Heart Kew Families,
How many different words can one use to describe our School Musical last week?
SPECTACULAR, AMAZING, BRILLIANT, OUTSTANDING, UNFORGETTABLE, REMARKABLE…
Just like in 2023, all our children shone, rising to the occasion, bringing the MAGIC ALIVE. We simply couldn't have asked for a better group of main and supporting cast members, who were ably supported by our ensemble children. Each child brought something unique to the production, and together, they really did create something truly fabulous. Thank you to all our incredibly talented children for all your hard work and energy throughout the entire experience. You should be so proud of all that you achieved together!
I also extend my thanks to all our parents for their generosity and efforts, supporting our Performing Arts program, providing us with their time and expertise, whenever help was needed. Thanks in particular to our Parents’ Association for their very GENEROUS support and fundraising efforts which contributed to the overall success of this production. Thank you to all school community members for embracing our School Musical. This performance, over two nights, certainly did not disappoint.
A heartfelt shout-out and MASSIVE thank you to all our teachers and staff! It really has been a team effort from all our WONDERFUL staff here at Sacred Heart Kew. From the very first day our staff have all been so generous and flexible with their time and efforts, contributing so much, so that this School Musical could be the event that it was. My sincere thanks go to all our staff. We really are so very fortunate to have a school with so many dedicated, selfless and talented teachers, who are always willing to go the extra mile for the children.
And last, but certainly not least, I acknowledge and thank our fearless and inspiring Performing Arts Teacher and Production Director Mrs Libby Mulhall and her outstanding production team. Libby and her production team created all of this and were the brains that brought this all to life. They saw the potential, pushed us all to our limits, and helped many of us discover talents we never knew we had. Thank you for your guidance, energy and direction, and for ensuring that the whole school musical production was a fun and enjoyable experience. We look forward to our next School Musical in 2027!

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend.
Kind Regards,
Ed Weekes
