KEEPING CLOVELLY PARK PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS SAFE! šø
Ā
Dear families, as we only have 1 ENTRY & 1 EXIT point at our school, here are some rules provided by the council & tips to reduce your stress and to keep your child/ren safe, when ādropping offā or āpicking upā.Ā
š æļø PARK SAFELY
Please help keep our school community safe by following these parking guidelines:
š« Do NOT park or stop on Renown Place near the school entrance, as we have cars that come and go at all times of the day and need to access our gate. In addition to this, we have buses that ādrop offā and āpick upā our Intensive English Language students, so this is a very busy area in the mornings and afternoons.š« No double-parking at any time.š« Do not park near the corner or pedestrian crossing.š« No parking across driveways, footpaths or yellow lines.š« Never leave your children unattended in the car ever!
āļø Park legally in surrounding streets.āļø Always check parking signs and time limits.āļø Follow City of Marion and SA road rules.
š¶ WALK SAFELY TO SCHOOL
Once parked, please walk your child to the school gate.
ā”ļø Use the pedestrian crossing around the corner.ā”ļø Hold hands with younger children.ā”ļø Look both ways and cross together.ā”ļø Never call out to a child or children, across the road.
ā ļø Parking too close to crossings blocks visibility and puts children at risk.
š DROP-OFF & PICK-UP REMINDERS
⢠Stay with your vehicle at all times.⢠If your child is not ready, move on and find a legal park.⢠Be patient ā congestion increases risk.⢠Model safe behaviour for all children.
š¤ BE A GOOD NEIGHBOUR
⢠Respect local residents and driveways.⢠Avoid blocking access or creating noise congestion.⢠Thank you for helping keep our community safe.š THANK YOU
By parking legally and walking safely, you help protect all students, families, and neighbours.
Together, we keep Clovelly Park Primary School community safe.
