Years F - 2

Over the past fortnight, the F/1/2 students have enjoyed a busy and engaging two weeks of learning.

Our classroom was filled with excitement during our Biology project, where we watched 14 chicks hatch. The students were fascinated by the process and loved checking in on the chicks each day. We extended this learning by exploring other animals that lay eggs and worked together to create posters matching animals to their eggs, working well in teams and clearly demonstrating our school value of Unity.

In Physical Education, students participated in Athletics clinics, practising their running, throwing and jumping skills. They showed enthusiasm and a willingness to have a go, while continuing to build their confidence.

Our Foundation students have now begun full-time school and have settled in really well. They have shown great enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to learn as they adjust to their new routines. It has been wonderful to see the Year 1 and 2 students supporting them, offering help when needed, including sharing classroom routines and modelling positive behaviours.
