Note to Year 10 Parents and Carers
Year 10 Meningococcal Vaccines A, C & Y will be administered this Wednesday, 27 May, by the Health Department.
If you are the parent or carer of a Year 10 student, then please complete the consent using the QR code below.
To ensure the day runs smoothly, we ask that you consent in advance to the vaccine clinic, either yes or no, to prevent being called on the day.
School-Based Immunisation Program
Your child is eligible for free immunisation at school, protecting them against serious diseases.
Year 10 students (during terms 1 or 2) will be offered:
Meningococcal ACWY vaccine: 1 dose - This vaccine protects against 4 strains of meningococcal disease.
Year 7 students (during terms 2, 3 or 4) will be offered:
- Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine: 1 dose - The HPV vaccine protects against the human papillomavirus (HPV)
- Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis (dTpa) vaccine: 1 dose - The dTpa vaccine protects against diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough (pertussis).
