Magis Report

College Chess Tournament

Round 1 of our College Chess Tournament was played this week. Students from Years 5 through to Year 12 are competing for the title of 2026 College Grandmaster. It was wonderful to see students engage across year levels, and I commend all participants on displaying great sportsmanship. Special thanks to Mr Kerslake for his assistance with the tournament. Round 2 fixtures will be uploaded to Teams, and a hard copy can be found on the Magis Noticeboard. Chess players are reminded that games begin at 1pm sharp and must be concluded in their allotted timeslot. Only final games can be played over multiple lunchtimes.
