Water safety Incursion   

Last term our kindergarten groups have had visits from two swim schools. Purple, Red and Green groups had Kingswim visit and Blue and Orange had Minky's swim school. During these  incursion, the children learnt about different signs they might see at the pool, how to wave for help in the water (with a fist and not an open hand) and also about different floatation devices. In blue group Kenes and Fletcher got to model the life jackets. At the end of the session, we listened to some stories about being safe in the water and then got to high- five Minky the whale.
