Athletics Day

Melba College Athletics Day is one of the highlights of the year, and last Friday's sports event was no different. 

Not only did we see some excellent sportsmanship on and off the field, but students and staff also got into the spirit of friendly competition by donning fun, creative costumes in their house colours. 

Some, in fact, managed to do both, combining colourful garb with athletic prowess!

Boys' Netball Champions

This week we had our Senior boys compete in Interschool Netball. We had two teams, Year 12's (A) and Year 11's (B).  All teams worked really hard and were up against some great shooters. The Year 12 team (A) didn't have the success they would have liked, but they should pride themselves on the fact that they didn't give up and kept going against the tough opponents. 

The Year 11 Boys (B) had a great day though, and actually won the Grand Final and the B Grade division by 2 goals. All the boys in the team did an amazing job and showed excellent teamwork and netball skills ~ From now on, we call them 'Champions', apparently!
