Welcome message

Dear Year 11 & 12 students, parents and community,

As we are heading into cooler weather, we are starting to see some non-uniform items reappear at school. This weekend, we would like to request students and families to please plan ahead for the cooler weather so that students can layer up with thermals, warm socks, etc. and ensure that they are in school uniform at all times at school. Key reminders:

  • Puffer vests are not permitted at school, whether indoors or outdoors.
  • Hoodies are not permitted at school, unless it is a school-issued time-limited hoodie (e.g. for School Production)
  • Long sleeve tshirts/undershirts must not be visible (e.g. by being worn with a shirt-sleeve PE top).
  • Scarves must be plain black without any patterns.
  • Uniform pants must be black. Track suit pants are not uniform pants.
  • A rainjacket may be worn to and from school but not at school.

We expect our Year 11 and Year 12 students to set the standard for our school and exemplify Melba College values. Being in uniform at all times at school is an important part of your role as school leaders, role models and mentors for our junior school students.

In this edition of the Senior Sub School bulletin, we are celebrating some amazing sporting moments and achievements over the past fortnight. You will also see upcoming dates and events listed, as well as important reminders.

As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Have a lovely weekend, and stay warm!

Kind regards,

Senior Sub School Team
