L.O.T.E. - German

Guten Tag!

We had a great and busy start to Term 2 in German.

Our Prep classes collected autumn (Herbst) words and colours while our Year 1 and 2s learned the twelve months of the year (Januar, Februar, März, April, Mai, Juni, Juli, August, September, Oktober, November, Dezember) and the 4 seasons (Frühling, Sommer, Herbst, Winter). 

Our Year 3 and 4 students discovered that Germany and lots of other countries celebrate Christmas in winter and Easter in spring and that their birthdays would be in a different season if they lived in Europe.

While our Year 6 students were away on camp, the Year 5s presented their cultural posters to the class. Stay tuned for some photos in the next newsletter.
