Monday 12th October- Rehearsal and Evening Performance

and

Tueaday 13th October- Evening Performance

We understand that this year’s production dates fall close to other key events on our school calendar, including the Year 4 & 5 camp and our School Fete.

Following parent feedback from our previous production, we have moved to a new venue this year, THE ROUND. This venue is closer to the school and provides significantly improved backstage facilities for our students. The scheduled dates were the only ones available and offered to us at the venue.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility and we are hopeful that future productions will offer greater choice in scheduling.

ALL STUDENTS will be performing in the production.

Please contact Sherree ASAP if you are away during these dates or if you have any other concerns.

Please keep an eye out for future Production communications.

We are still looking for volunteers for the School Production  Committee

We’re still on the lookout for a few enthusiastic helpers to bring this year’s school production to life!

Being part of the Production Committee is a fun and rewarding way to get involved. It includes attending a few planning meetings and helping with things like organising, sourcing props and costumes, designing and building sets, and supporting the event on the big day.

Whether you have a passion for the Arts, enjoy event planning, or simply want to lend a hand, we’d love to hear from you!

5/6 LEAD ROLE AUDITIONS ARE IN PROGRESS

Auditions are now underway, and it has been fantastic to see the talent, professionalism and effort students have already brought to the process, well done to all of the students involved so far!

Auditions will continue over the next two weeks. A “make-up” audition session will be held in Week 4 for any students who missed their original time due to illness.

If students were unable to attend the audition information session or require audition scripts, all details are available on their Class Dojo.

Wishing all students the very best as they continue to prepare and rehearse!

Please contact Sherree via email or on Dojo if you have any questions.

This Term, the Performing Arts room is coming alive with rhythm, movement and creativity as our focus shifts to Dance! Students across all year levels will be building their skills through learning, rehearsing and performing a variety of dance sequences, while also having the opportunity to choreograph their own movements and express their ideas through dance.

As the term progresses, students will begin working on their class dance items for this year’s school production. This is always an exciting time, as they develop confidence, teamwork and performance skills in preparation for taking to the stage.

We look forward to seeing their creativity shine as they move, create and perform throughout Term 2!
