Maroondah/Manningham Division Swimming Carnival
It was a quick turnaround from the District Swimming Carnival as our talented swimmers progressed to the Combined Maroondah/Manningham Division Swimming Carnival. The event was held on Monday 2nd March at Aquanation, Ringwood, with 9 students proudly representing our school against some of the strongest swimmers in the region.
The Maroondah and Manningham Divisions include more than 50 government and non-government schools, making this a highly competitive event. Our swimmers rose to the challenge and represented our school with determination and pride.
Individual Results:
Lara S – 9/10 Girls Breaststroke – 6th
Declan S – 11 Boys Backstroke – 7th
Relay Results:
Darcy C, Emma C, Lara S and Zara I – 9/10 Girls Freestyle Relay – 9th
Zach C, Harvey G, Harry C and Seb D – 12/13 Boys Freestyle Relay – 8th
Congratulations to all of our Division swimmers who competed on Monday. It was a fantastic morning, and I am incredibly proud of the students for their determination, enthusiasm and commitment throughout the swimming season.
A big thank you to our wonderful parents, grandparents and guardians for their ongoing support. Your encouragement plays such an important role in making opportunities like this possible.
Well done to everyone for making this swimming season such a memorable one!
