Diocesan Swimming Carnival

Good luck to our students travelling to Gunnedah on Friday to compete in the Diocesan Swimming Carnival. The event will be held at the Gunnedah Memorial Swimming Pool which is located on Anzac Parade in Gunnedah. The carnival will start at 9:00 am sharp. A warm-up will be available from 8:15-8:45am. All students must be at the pool by 8:30am and meet Miss McCosker to have their name marked off. The children will be expected to sit together as a school until the conclusion of their events. Pool entry needs to be paid on the day and is $4.00 for children and $2.00 for adult spectators. The day will conclude at approximately 3:00pm. Students should bring a hat, water, sunscreen, swimming gear and a healthy lunch. A canteen & BBQ will be operating on the day. Students should be in full school sports uniform – no Diocesan clothing is to be worn. The children may wear thongs instead of joggers if they wish. The first 3 places from each event on the day will then be eligible to attend the Polding Carnival on Wednesday 3rd April 2024 at SOPAC Homebush. 

Weekly Sport 

This week sports rotations continue. Sport will be from 10.30 am - 11.40 am. Students who are attending sports outside of school will need to bring in the necessary money to their class teacher.

Secondary Sport

School Sport

Students will continue our annual house sports competition this week. Teams have been posted and houses will compete every Thursday in a variety of sports. The champion to be announced later in the term. 

Diocesan Swimming Trials Gunnedah

Good luck to the following students who will compete at the Armidale Diocesan Swimming Selections in Gunnedah this Friday: Kobe Butcher, Florence Black, Eliza McNamarra, April Neppl, and Sheldon Brown. 

U15’s Diocesan Rugby League Lismore

Good luck to Toby Beveridge, Dustin Ford and Angus Norman who are attending the Combined boys U15 Lismore/Armidale Diocesan Rugby League trial next Tuesday.

U16’s Diocesan Rugby League Lismore

Good luck to Matilda Thompson who is attending the Combined girls U16 Lismore/Armidale Diocesan Rugby League trial next Tuesday.
